What you get

# A website you actually control.

[Start a project](https://elchi.dev/en/kontakt) [See the price](https://websites.elchi.dev/en/preis)

## Our own stack

No WordPress, no theme, no thirty plugins slowing each other down. We write the backend ourselves and run it for you, so there is nothing foreign to break.

## Edit everything yourself

Text, images, prices and legal documents change in the admin area without asking us. Uploaded images are optimised for every screen size automatically.

## Visitor numbers without a cookie banner

Our visitor statistics run with us, on the same servers as your website, and store no IP addresses. That means no banner, and visitors see your site straight away.

## Found by Google and by AI assistants

Structured data, a clean page hierarchy and proper multilingual markup. Search engines find you, and an assistant can name you when somebody asks for a provider in your area.

Operation

## What we commit to for running your site.

If your website runs with us, we commit to an availability. Here is how we measure it, what it covers and what happens if we miss it.

99.999 % committed availability. That is at most five minutes and 15 seconds of downtime a year. It is measured around the clock, from more than one place.

### How we measure

We check your site around the clock from more than one place. Our operation across several data centres has been running since 3 October 2026; once a full month has been measured, the status page publishes the measured availability. A status page of your own, with its history, is to follow.

### What it covers

Everything we operate. Not what sits outside it: your domain, your DNS, an upstream service. And not cases where we have to take a site down, for instance over unlawful content.

### Maintenance is agreed

We work so that you notice nothing. Where an interruption cannot be avoided, we agree the window with you beforehand.

### And when it goes wrong

What applies if we miss the committed availability is set out in your contract before you sign.

Why it matters

## Speed is not the point.

It is the reason visitors stay, and the reason Google shows your page high up at all.

2.5 seconds

That is the longest the main content may take to appear for Google to rate the page as good. Above it the page counts as needing improvement, and loading time is part of how Google compares pages.

53 per cent

That many mobile visits are abandoned when loading takes longer than three seconds. It is Google's own measurement. Those people never see what you offer.

On every device

Google measures on a mid-range phone on a mobile network. That is where somebody decides whether to wait.
